The RTX 4090 and 4080 GPUs Review DLSS 3

We all have heard about the GPUs by now. Nvidia is always impresses us the every new GPU. Despite some of the performance comparison is little be unrealistic. However the star of this article will be the new DLSS 3.

Unless we test it we can prove anything but here what Nvidia had to say about the DLSS 3. Nvidia claims up to X2-X4 higher performance NVIDIA Ada Lovelace, 3rd generation RTX architecture. Now the X2 is for the games and X4 for developers who can boost performance by up to 4X in fully ray-traced titles. Now it is not clear compared to who exactly these numbers are being compared to. What we have though it real number from Nvidia.

According to Nvidia:

Certain games make extensive use of the CPU, limiting the benefit of faster graphics cards and Super Resolution technologies. DLSS 3 operates on the GPU, bypassing CPU bottlenecks and boosting frame rates. In Microsoft Flight Simulator, with a 1:1 real-world recreation of our planet, DLSS 3 boosts frame rates by up to 2X.

NVIDIA DLSS 3 is coming to over 35 games and apps, with the first games arriving in October. So right from the get go not all games will support this new technology so your miles may vary. Here is a list of developers that seems to be onboard of adapting their games to work with DLSS 3

In conclusion it is a nice technology that can boost your FPS indeed. The downside is you need your game support it. Just like RTX not all games have it. Which makes it a gimmick. Now in the case of DLSS 3 it is of course not a gimmick since it does a really nice job of boosting FPS but will enough game support to make the upgrade to 4000 series cards? let us know your thoughts in the comment section below
