From now until August 8, Far Cry 6 is available for free

Have you yet to play Far Cry 6? You can now spend your weekend doing just that, so don’t worry.

According to Ubisoft, the game is currently available for free on the PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Ubisoft Connect, Stadia, and the Epic Games Store until August 8. The fact that the deal is open to both the original game and all of its DLCs makes it even better.

If you opt to buy the complete game after this weekend, your progress will be carried over, allowing you to pick up where you left off.

If you are unfamiliar with Far Cry 6, it is the sixth mainline entry in the Far Cry series, a well-known first-person shooter franchise created by Ubisoft. This particular excursion takes place on the fictional island of Yara, which is ruled by tyrant Antón Castillo and his son Diego, who is carrying on his father’s despotic legacy. As guerilla fighter Dani Rojas, a Yaran from the area whose goal it is to topple Castillo’s harsh government, you are thrust into an exhilarating, action-packed journey.
