Verdict

If you are looking for a more diverse laptop the Asus is an excellent choice. It is light with good battery to do work and save some for gaming. The Asus is also light to carry around with small form factor compared to other gaming laptops with 1TB SSD. However if you are more of hardcore gamer the A5 X1 seems to be a better choice. The bigger screen higher refresh rate it perfect for you to practice and enjoy your game with the best performance on the run. Combine with the RTX 3070 it is a beast in a bag. Pun intended, at a whopping 4.68 lbs, don’t expect yourself carrying it around much. 3.5 hours battery time is also a disadvantage. Keep in mind that the A5 X1 is a year older so you are also saving little bit o money as well yet it is still have RTX 3070.

To sum up, more portable less performance go for the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14. If you want the full juice in a laptop and portability is not an issue Gigabyte A5 X1 is pretty nice choice.
