As part of its RTX 4000 line of graphics cards, the replacement for its two-year-old RTX 3000 series, Nvidia has unveiled a new flagship GPU.

The first GPU is the GeForce RTX 4090, which employs Nvidia’s new Ada Lovelace architecture and third-generation DLSS. It comes with 24GB of G6X RAM and is advertised as being two to four times faster than Nvidia’s previous flagship GPU, the RTX 3090 Ti. On October 12, the RTX 4090 will go on sale for $1599.

Additionally, the RTX 4080 was revealed, which offers 12GB and 16GB of RAM options. According to claims, the RTX 4080 is up to twice as fast as the RTX 3080 Ti. The RTX 4080 GPUs’ release date has not yet been announced, but according to Nvidia, it will happen in November. The retail price of the RTX 4080 with 12GB of G6X memory is $899, while the price of the 16GB version is $1,199.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang covered the RTX 40’s new graphics architecture in great detail throughout the presentation.
