TikTok Overtakes Google As Most Popular Site on the Internet

The report comes from Cloudflare’s end-of-year review, which breaks down all things internet. Cloudflare explains that while Google may have dominated 2020, 2021 has been something completely different. TikTok won its first day on February 17, then claimed several more during March and May. By August, TikTok was winning more days against Google than it was losing to it, a trend that’s persisted through November and particularly strongly in December.

Battlefield V Currently Has More Steam Players Than Battlefield 2042

Battlefield 2042 has an incredibly low user rating as a result of this backlash, with many fans voicing their disapproval with the game and the direction that EA and DICE decided to take it in. It seems that this poor word of mouth is hurting the game’s staying power already, as Battlefield 2042 currently has less active players on Steam than an older game in the series, Battlefield V, which launched in 2018.

Rainbow Six Extraction director reveals how it’s adapting Siege Operators to fight aliens

Rainbow Six Extraction’s creative director has revealed how Operators from Siege were adapted for the new game.

When it launches next month, Rainbow Six Extraction will bring over a selection of Operators from Rainbow Six Siege. In a new interview with PLAY Magazine, Extraction creative director Patrik Methe reveals that the team had “heated discussions” concerning which Operators from Siege would make the cut for Extraction.

“We had to adapt some of the gadgets and abilities to support this play,” said Methe of Siege’s Operators going from fighting human enemies to alien foes in Extraction. “We tried to stay as close [as possible] to the essence of each Operator that we picked for Extraction. This means that we tweaked the Operators in certain ways, sometimes small, sometimes big.”

“In the end, we feel that we were able to pick the best roster of Operators for a PvE co-op experience,” Methe adds of Extraction’s final character roster. Extraction’s final roster currently numbers 18 Operators, including the likes of Ela, Gridlock, Smoke, Nomad, Sledge, Lion, Vigil, Pulse, and Finka, all of which have made the jump from Rainbow Six Siege.
