Steam Breaks Its Own Concurrent Player Record Again

On November 27, for the first time in Steam’s history, the platform climbed above 27 million concurrent users online. That means that there were 27 million individual Steam accounts all logged in at the same time. The peak occurred Saturday morning around 7:00 AM PT/10:00 AM ET

Just a few days short of its first anniversary, Cyberpunk 2077’s user reviews on Steam is now “very positive”. 

Cyberpunk 2077’s journey has infamously not been a smooth one. One of the highest-profile gaming controversies for some time, Cyberpunk 2077 went from one of the most anticipated titles ever to a launch disaster when it was discovered the game was full of bugs and performance issues. The problems were especially pronounced on the PS4 and Xbox One base consoles, leading to Sony temporarily pulling the game from the PlayStation Store and Microsoft offering refunds.

New Weekly Rust Skins Revealed

In a post on the official Twitter account, an additional eight new skins have been included in Rust, with details posted to the game’s Steam page. While the number of skins can change each week, in this week, there are eight skins. For AK enthusiasts, an AK skin is on the list this week. So you might want to check it out as well.

New Sea of Thieves Update Will Let Players Bury Their Treasure

A new teaser for an upcoming Sea of Thieves update hints that soon players will be burying treasure instead of digging it up.

The teaser in question was shared via the official Sea of Thieves Twitter account with the message, “Maybe we can teach old sea dogs new tricks…” Accompanying the message is a short video featuring the camera slowly zooming in on two busy pirates on a beach. As the camera gets near, it becomes clear that the pirates aren’t digging up treasure, but rather burying a chest in the sand. This is a mechanic not currently in the game, making it seem like these pirates are creating a Sea of Thieves miracle
