November Rust Update Goes All Military

Rust will now feature military desert base monuments, each of which has a Multiple Launch Rocket System, or MLRS. Players will be able to gain access to these monuments from numerous entrances, where they will be able to utilize the MLRS. Each will be able to fire 12 rockets, which can be countered with SAMs, but otherwise have the potential to cause untold damage. The one stipulation is that rockets cannot be fired at any safe zones in the game, for obvious reasons.

Rainbow Six Siege – Thorn Rides In

Thorn, the new Defender from Ireland coming to Rainbow Six Siege. That’s what Ubisoft said about the new operator Thorn. It seems that it will be similar to Kapkan but it really hard to speculate at this point.

Forza Horizon 5 is Now 2021’s Highest-Rated Game

According to review aggregate site OpenCritic, Forza Horizon 5 currently has a 92 overall rating based on 87 reviews. The Forza Horizon 5 reviews seem to be in agreement that the game is a visual stunner, especially when playing on Xbox Series X, and that it provides a wealth of content that should keep fans busy for a significant amount of time. Negative comments about the game are difficult to find, but it seems the most common knock against it is that it’s a very similar experience as the previous Forza Horizon games.

With Forza Horizon’s 92 average, it’s not only the highest-rated game of 2021 so far, but it’s also notable for being the only game this year to surpass a 90 average rating. Many other 2021 games have gotten close, like Deathloop, Psychonauts 2, and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and while they all earned respectably high review scores, none of them have managed to reach 90.

Skyrim Anniversary Edition Price Finally Revealed

On an update released 11/5: It has since been revealed that Skyrim Anniversary Edition will not be a part of Xbox Game Pass. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will still get the next-gen version of Skyrim Special Edition for free (and new features coming in the free update), but they will need to pay $19.99 to access all of the Anniversary Edition content.
