The September showcase will feature "several games" from Ubisoft.

According to the publisher, Ubisoft Forward will return in “full force” in September with an event that would include “several games.” You should watch Ubisoft’s channels on September 10 at 12 p.m. PT, 3 p.m. ET, and 8 p.m. BST to see the event live. The showcase will contain “updates and announcements on several games and projects from Ubisoft teams around the world,” according to Ubisoft, which hasn’t been very explicit about which games will be showcased.

Again, Ubisoft has not officially announced any titles for the event, but there is reason to suppose we will see what the Assassin’s Creed series will be doing after this. Recall how Ubisoft promised last month that a September event will reveal the “future of Assassin’s Creed”? Of course, that was alluding to the Ubisoft Forward that was presented today.

It’s unlikely that anything Viking-related will be displayed at the event, given Ubisoft has stated that Eivor’s journey will come to an end with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s last DLC later this year. There’s a possibility that the upcoming mainline episode of the series will be revealed, but who knows? There’s also the Assassin’s Creed Netflix series, which was previewed back in December 2020 but about which we haven’t heard much lately.

Other possible appearances include the Assassin’s Creed Infinity game, which appears to be in live service, and a speculated stealth-focused spinoff title, though neither have been officially confirmed. Additionally, there is the recently postponed Prince of Persia remake and, dare I say it, the supposedly true Beyond Good and Evil 2.
